RCS utilizes the concept of “Batch Manufacturing”. Building for “short term” future needs combines the efficiencies of repetitive product runs balanced with the benefits of “just in time” manufacturing. RCS specializes in Batch Manufacturing to minimize costly change orders to individual Fixtures and to provide a smooth process for our Installation teams.
By avoiding large production runs, Batch Manufacturing enables us to keep an adequate stock on hand, while limiting customer exposure due to high inventory levels of items that could potentially become discontinued or obsolete delaying your Roll Out and Installation. Our ERP database has equipped us with the tools necessary to accurately and efficiently manage the flow of materials through our shop. All of this contributes to a lower cost of overhead related to Inventory Management; and that savings is passed on to our customers.
From time to time, design changes become necessary. Because large inventories are not involved with Batch manufacturing, RCS is more responsive and can make the needed modifications more quickly and efficiently assuring you that your Roll Out stays on schedule. By nature, Batch Manufacturing reduces large investments in raw materials and finished goods. In addition, it decreases the amount of needed warehouse space and the labor required to maintain and pick product, all resulting in lower inventory and operating costs.
High inventory of finished goods and raw materials can expose customers to the dangers of having to pay for modifications or disposal of product that has become discontinued due to updates or design changes. Even worse, it can delay your store opening.
You can rest assured that your Roll Out and Installation will be on schedule. The strict Inventory Control practices at RCS result in timely delivery, controlled costs and uniform product in the marketplace.
